"My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)" is the first single from musical group En Vogue's second album, ''Funky Divas''. It has been certified gold by the RIAA for shipments of over 500,000 units. The song features Maxine Jones and Dawn Robinson on lead vocals. In a 1992 article En Vogue mentioned this was one of the last songs they recorded for Funky Divas, which resulted in it being released as a single so close to the album's release date. The song appears in the 1995 movie ''Canaleo'' and the 2007 Chris Rock film, ''I Think I Love My Wife'', as well as on the soundtrack to video game ''Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas''. The single glided into the top tier, reaching its peak of #2 by the week of May 16, 1992, where it remained for three consecutive weeks. "My Lovin'" was one of several top contenders during the summer of 1992 that was held out of the top spot by Kris Kross (#1 for 8 weeks with "Jump"). Nevertheless, the song was one of the most notable and popular songs of the year, remaining in the Top 10 for thirteen weeks, and in the Top 40 for twenty-two weeks. The song also reached #4 in the UK Singles Chart.
